When you're looking for someone to clean your windows, facade or solar panels, the problem is rarely just "the windows are dirty." More often it's a specific situation - high windows in an Art Nouveau building in the centre that can't be reached from inside; panoramic windows in a new multi-storey block; or a smooth office facade that hasn't been cleaned in years. Riga as a city is so varied - from the dense historic centre to sprawling Soviet-era residential districts, from suburban neighbourhoods on the outskirts to the Daugava islands - that one and the same solution rarely fits everywhere equally well.

That's exactly why we work with pure-water (water-fed pole) technology, which allows us to safely reach windows several storeys up from ground level, as well as crane and rope-access solutions for taller buildings where a pole's reach is no longer enough. What actually affects the job in Riga

Riga isn't uniform - the conditions that affect window or facade cleaning change from one neighbourhood to the next:

• The historic centre and Old Town: dense construction, narrow streets and limited parking mean that positioning equipment and access need to be planned more carefully than in a more open neighbourhood. Art Nouveau and pre-war brick facades and window frames are often older, with specific materials that require a gentler approach.
• The large residential districts (Purvciems, Plavnieki, Imanta, Ziepniekkalns, Jugla): extensive multi-storey blocks with a similar window layout, but facades of varying age and condition. Access usually requires coordination with the building manager or a co-owners' representative, and distance from the centre can affect route planning.
• Teika and Mezaparks: mixed development - from Soviet-era apartment blocks to detached houses and newer developments near the forest - each part requiring its own approach to access and equipment.
• Agenskalns, Tornakalns, Zolitude (Pardaugava, left bank): historic and newer development on the left bank, where in some places proximity to the Daugava and rail lines can affect the access route.
• Bolderaja, Sarkandaugava, Maskavas Forstate: an industrial history alongside residential buildings of various ages next to commercial properties - access often needs to be assessed for each property individually.
• Traffic and bridges: congestion in the city centre and crossings of the Daugava (to or from the left bank) can affect callout timing, which is why we always agree on the exact time in advance.
